170905-N-ZL062-014 WATERS EAST OF JAPAN (Sept. 5, 2017) Family members and friends of Sailors attached to the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) learn how to wear and use an oxygen breathing apparatus for shipboard fire-fighting and basic shipboard damage control during a tiger cruise. Tiger cruises are an opportunity for civilian guests to ride a U.S. Navy ship and learn what life is like for U.S. Navy Sailors at sea. Green Bay, part of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group, is operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance partnerships and be a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
