170901-N-IO414-011 ASAKURA, Japan (Sep. 1, 2017) Sailors assigned to Task Force 76 and U.S. Fleet Activities Sasebo remove dirt and debris from a home that was affected by a mudslide during a disaster clean-up project. More than 90 Sailors volunteered to help repair damage caused by a mudslide. Sasebo-based Sailors routinely participate in community outreach and service projects with the Japanese community as a way to establish a foundation of trust and friendship.
