(Aug. 27, 2017) Scientists from the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) attended the 2017 Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS) which is the Department of Defense’s annual four-day scientific symposium. The MHSRS is the only military or civilian meeting that focuses specifically on the unique medical needs of the warfighter. Scientists from NHRC presented current research that covered topics ranging from infectious diseases surveillance and musculoskeletal injury risk to deployment health and psychological health challenges.
