170825-M-WW697-752 HOKKAIDO, Japan (Aug. 25, 2017) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Thomas Thiede, assigned to 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, is supporting Northern Viper (NV) 2017. Thiede renders emergency and clinical care to U.S. Marines and Japanese soldiers while training with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
