Nate Moyer, commanding officer of the amphibious transport dock USS Green Bay (LPD 20), speaks to the crew and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) during an all-hands call in the well deck. Green Bay is part of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG), which is participating in certification exercises (CERTEX) to increase joint capability to respond to a number of potential contingencies. CERTEX is conducted to evaluate the integration of all elements of the ESG by testing their combined ability to plan for and execute mission essential tasks.
