170818-N-GP724-095 PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 18, 2017) A C-2A Greyhound assigned to the "Providers" of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC) 30 lands on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt is underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX) with its carrier strike group in preparation for an upcoming deployment. COMPTUEX tests a carrier strike group’s mission readiness and ability to perform as an integrated unit through simulated real-world scenarios.
