170809-N-YG414-054 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 9, 2017) Sailors assigned to the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) participate in training during the General Shipboard Firefighting Course at the Surface Warfare Officers School in Yokosuka, Japan. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
