Shoshana Chatfield, commander of Joint Region Marianas, sits at a mission crew work station during a tour of a P-8A Poseidon aircraft assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 26. Chatfield spoke with crew members of VP-26 and learned about the capabilities of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft participating in GUAMEX. The multinational anti-submarine warfare exercise conducted in the waters surrounding Guam. Participants include aircraft and subsurface assets from the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force, the Royal New Zealand Air Force, and the U.S. Navy.
