170806-N-AV754-0001 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Aug. 6, 2017) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the "Chargers" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26 conducts a replenishment-at-sea with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Kanawha (T-AO 196), the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50). Bataan and its amphibious ready group are deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
