170803-N-WM647-0061 ARABIAN GULF (Aug. 3, 2017) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Eightballers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8 transports supplies to the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during a vertical replenishment. Nimitz is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, conducting maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, preserve freedom of navigation, and maintain the free flow of commerce.
