170728-BK384-342 PACIFIC OCEAN (July 28, 2017) Sailors assigned to the Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161 (Reinforced) embarked aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), retrieve a RQ-21A Blackjack unmanned aerial aircraft on the ship’s flight deck. San Diego is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, which is operating in the Indo-Asia Pacific region to strengthen partnerships and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
