170721-N-ZS023-0034 PACIFIC OCEAN (July 21, 2017) Quartermaster 2nd Class Dartagnan Carcana, a native of Brooklyn, New York, right, and Quartermaster 3rd Class Bridgette Olivieri, a native of Bronx, New York, both assigned to the Navigation department of the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), stand as the Quartermaster of the Watch on the ship's bridge. America is currently embarked on its maiden deployment and is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) and America.
