170708-N-RL456-0318 NORFOLK (July 8, 2017) The amphibious assault ships USS Wasp (LHD 1), USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) and USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) are moored at Naval Station Norfolk. Iwo Jima is underway with Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) 4 and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU) conducting PHIBRON-MEU integrated training in preparation for their upcoming deployment.
