170629-N-SL853-186 GREAT LAKES, Ill. (June 29, 2017) U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps recruits put out a fire during firefighting team applications training at Recruit Training Command (RTC). The Sea Cadets had a one-week basic training event at RTC were they learned life skills and participated in boot camp training task to include basic seamanship to advanced training evolutions including Small-Arms Simulated Training, firefighting, and combat pool training for water survival skills.
