170622-N-AX638-0416 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 22, 2017) Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Caitlyn Radke, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Howard (DDG 83), signals an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the �Eightballers� of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8 during a vertical replenishment. Howard is on an underway in the U.S. 7th fleet area of operations. The U.S. Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
