170618-N-LK571-399 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 18, 2017) An MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Blue Hawks” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 78 fires chaff flares near the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) as part of an air power demonstration during a tiger cruise. A tiger cruise allows friends and family members of Sailors to embark the ship to experience U.S. Navy life at sea.
