Hospital Corpsman birthday run
MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 17, 2017) Marines and Sailors assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) participate in a 5k run aboard the flight deck of the ship to celebrate the 119thanniversary of the creation of the hospital corpsman on June 17, 2017. The 24th MEU is embarkedwith the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet area of operations.
