170615-N-OI810-841 SOUTH CHINA SEA (June 15, 2017) F/A-18 Super Hornets assigned to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5 conduct flight operations as the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), far, and the helicopter destroyer JS Izumo (DDH 183) steam into formation during a combined Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) and U.S. Navy exercise.
