170612-N-LK571-423 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 12, 2017) Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 3 fast-rope from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Black Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4 onto the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in the western Pacific. The U.S. Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
