170610-N-LC424-0443 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 10, 2017) Quartermaster 3rd Class Christian Falculan, from San Diego, assigned to the navigation and administrative departments of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), monitors the ship’s location on the ship’s bridge. Pearl Harbor is currently underway, conducting a Certification Exercise (CERTEX) as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment. The America Amphibious Ready Group is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), and Pearl Harbor.
