(June 8, 2017) Future Sailors Joshua Phillips, from Longview, Texas, and David Morgan from Bossier City, La., participate in the swim portion of the physical screening test (PST) conducted by Navy Recruiting District Houston’s Special Warfare (SPECWAR) Scout Team in Shreveport, La. More than 40 applicants participated in the PST. Their results will be placed into a national draft where the top performers will be selected to start SPECWAR training in their selected community – the Navy SEAL Teams, Special Warfare Combatant-Crew (SWCC), Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Navy Diver and Navy Air Rescue Swimmer (AIRR).
