170605-N-LC424-0876 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 5, 2017) A landing craft air cushion piloted by the "Swift Intruders" of Assault Craft Unit 5 enters the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52). Pearl Harbor is underway conducting a certification exercise as part of the third and final phase of qualifications for their upcoming deployment. The America Amphibious Ready Group is comprised of more than 1,800 Sailors and 2,600 Marines assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), and Pearl Harbor.
