170602-N-JH929-026 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 2, 2017) Sailors conduct maintenance on the countermeasure washdown system aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) in the Pacific Ocean. Nimitz is underway toward Naval Air Station North Island where they will join Carrier Air Wing 11, Destroyer Squadron 9 and the rest of Carrier Strike Group 11 to depart on a regularly scheduled deployment.
