170531-N-PJ626-093 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 31, 2017) Aviation Structural Mechanic 1st Class Bradley Canon, from Albany, Ga., performs maintenance on an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter from the Saberhawks of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 77 aboard the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), in the western Pacific region. The MH-60R is capable of conducting search and rescue missions, medical evacuation, vertical replenishment, naval surface fire support, and communications relay. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
