170517-N-N0101-002 MARINETTE, Wisc. (May 17, 2017) The U.S. Navy, together with shipbuilders at the Fincantieri Marinette Marine shipyard, laid the keel for the future littoral combat ship USS St. Louis (LCS 19) during a keel laying ceremony in Marinette, Wisconsin. Barbara Broadhurst Taylor, the ship's sponsor, authenticated the keel by welding her initials onto a steel plate that will be placed in the hull of the ship. (U.S. Navy photo/Released)
