170509-N-CJ185-0001 SAIPAN (May 9, 2017) Sailors assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 deploy an unmanned underwater vehicle from a MK VI patrol boat off the coast of Saipan. EODMU-5 is testing its ability to deploy assets from various platforms, including helicopters and patrol boats, to increase its adaptive interoperability.
