(April. 28, 2017) A recruit award winner shakes the hand of the Ryne Sandberg, the guest of honor during a boot camp graduation ceremony at Recruit Training Command (RTC). Sandberg is a former Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies major league baseball (MLB) player and a member of the MLB Hall of Fame. sandberg attended the graduation as a guest of Rear Admiral Stephen Evans, commander, Naval Service Training Command.
