170425-N-RM689-100 U.S. 7TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (April 25, 2017) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108) is underway alongside the Republic of Korea multirole guided-missile destroyer Wang Geon (DDG 978) during a bilateral exercise. Wayne E. Meyer is on a scheduled western Pacific deployment with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group.
