170422-N-VN349-003 AGADIR, Morocco (April 22, 2017) Sailors assigned to Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 1 and their counterparts from the Royal Moroccan navy conduct joint training during Exercise African Lion 2017. UCT-1 and Royal Moroccan navy divers focused on proper operating procedures and safety while diving on a sunken vessel just beyond the Port of Agadir. African Lion is a combined, multilateral exercise designed to improve interoperability and mutual understanding of each nation’s tactics, techniques and procedures while demonstrating the strong bond between the nation’s militaries.
