170405-N-WA993-058 YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 5, 2017) Tooru Oohashi, U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) rigger-in-charge, gives a safety brief to SRF-JRMC personnel and Sailors from the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The mixed team of riggers prepared to crane a decommissioned F/A-18C Super Hornet aboard the ship to be used for flight deck drills. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
