170330-N-WF272-800 EAST CHINA SEA (March 30, 2017) The amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) conducts a refueling at sea with the Henry J. Kaiser-class replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197). Bonhomme Richard is the flagship of it's expeditionary strike group, which is on a routine patrol, operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance warfighting readiness and posture forward as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
