170328-N-UG095-027 SAN DIEGO (March 28, 2017) Katherine Preston-Wager, the sexual assault response coordinator (SARC) aboard amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), provides sexual assault prevention and response (SAPR) training to Sailors during CPO 365 in preparation for Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month (SAAPM). Each year the DoD observes SAAPM throughout the month of April as a time to focus on creating the appropriate culture to eliminate sexual assault throughout the military.
