170328-M-GM943-018 COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (March 28, 2017) U.S. Marines assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (11th MEU) sand walls prior to painting during a community relations project held at the Ratmalana School for the Deaf and Blind in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Marines and Sailors assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) will participate in bilateral training and cultural activities alongside the Sri Lanka armed forces, helping to build and maintain military-to-military relations, enhance military readiness, and increase humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparations.
