170324-N-HD638-078 U.S. 7TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (March 24, 2017) An MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Blue Hawks” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 78 lands aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The ship and it's carrier strike group is on a western Pacific deployment as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of U.S. 3rd Fleet.
