170322-N-XL056-135 PACIFIC OCEAN (March 22, 2017) An F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the "Blue Diamonds" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 146 launches from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The ship is underway conducting a composite training unit exercise with it's carrier strike group in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
