170319-N-TH560-994 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 19, 2017) Reconnaissance Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) navigate a combat rubber raiding craft into the well deck of amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) following a helo cast exercise. The ship and its expeditionary strike group are on a routine patrol operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance warfighting readiness and posture forward as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
