170314-N-NB544-315 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 14, 2017) Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) fast rope from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to "Island Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The ship is on a routine patrol operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance warfighting readiness and posture forward as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
