170310-N-GR361-693 EAST CHINA SEA (March 10, 2017) U.S. Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) fire an M240B machine gun during a gunnery exercise aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48). The ship is part of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group which is on a routine patrol operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance partnerships and be a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
