Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 is constructing a new health clinic in the remote village of Walung, improving local access to health care and demonstrating the United States’ commitment to the Federated States of Micronesia. NMCB-1 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian and foreign assistance, special operations combat service support, and theater security cooperation in support of U.S. Pacific Command.
