170128-N-ET194-022 CHINHAE, South Korea (Jan. 28, 2017) Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 and Marines from the 9th Engineer Support Battalion work with Republic of Korea marines to erect an Improved Ribbon Bridge in open waters. NMCB-5 is forward deployed to the western Pacific to support Major Combat Operations, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations, and to provide general engineering and civil support to Navy, Marine Corps, and joint operational forces.
