170112-N-FG909-017 NORFOLK (Jan. 12, 2017) U.S. Fleet Forces Command Sailors, Marines and guests gathered at the base chapel to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The celebration, hosted by the command's heritage committee, included a historical overview of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life as well as a medley of his speeches. U.S. Fleet Forces Command works to man, train and equip the Fleet for prompt and sustained combat operations and is responsible for making the Fleet ready to fight and win, both today and in the future.
