170830-N-KL846-016 COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Aug. 30, 2017) Air Force Airmen assigned to the 48th Rescue Squadron load gear for a joint search and rescue operation throughout the areas affected by Hurricane Harvey utilizing Air Force small boats and Navy helicopters from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7. The U.S. Navy and Air Force have sent personnel and aircraft to the area to bolster Northern Command's support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's disaster response efforts.
