181217-M-RP664-0023 NORFOLK (Dec. 17, 2018) Marines assigned to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) man the rails while departing Naval Station Norfolk, Dec. 17, 2018. Approximately 2,500 Marines and Sailors will deploy with the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group.
