181215-N-KL846-1153 NORFOLK (Dec. 15, 2018) Cmdr. Pat Morley, executive officer of the “Dragon Slayers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 11, greets his family as he returns from deployment in an MH-60S Sea Hawk Helicopter at Naval Station Norfolk. HSC-11 departed with Carrier Air Wing 1, Apr. 11, 2018 as part of the ongoing rotation of forward deployed forces supporting maritime security operations in international waters across the globe as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (HSTCSG). HSTCSG was the first to participate in Dynamic Fleet Employment (DFE), an initiative allows the Navy to be both strategically predictable to our allies, while remaining operationally unpredictable to our adversaries.
