181212-N-NM435-6740 IWAKUNI, Japan (Dec. 12, 2018) Equipment Operator 2nd Class Austin Keeler, from Florence, Colo., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Detachment Iwakuni, excavates dirt for the placement of a concrete pad that will hold one of nine waste enclosure structures being built at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
