181212-N-HK244-1021 OKINAWA, Japan (Dec. 12, 2018) Builder Constructionman Matthew Gurrera, and Builder 2nd Class Victor Iracheeta, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, pour concrete into wall forms during a project to build a k-span structure that will house civil engineering support equipment at Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations. Seabees provide general engineering and civil support to Navy, Marine Corps and joint operational forces globally.
