181128-N-PQ607-0002 PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 28, 2018) In a show of strong partnership, the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25), the guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E Meyer (DDG 108), the Royal Navy frigate HMS Montrose (F236) and the Chilean navy frigates CNS Prat (FF 07) and CNS Condell (FF 06) transit in formation during a multination photo exercise. Each nation will be participating in the Chilean Navy�s EXPONAVAL 2018 in Valparaiso, Chile in December. In addition, this year also marks the 200th Anniversary of the Chilean Navy�s establishment. Somerset and Wayne E. Meyer are part of LCG-1, which is deployed in support of the Enduring Promise Initiative to reaffirm U.S. Southern Command's longstanding commitment to the nations of the Western Hemisphere.
