181119-N-AM732-081 PORT GENTIL, Gabon (Nov. 19, 2018) Sailors assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 work with the Gabonese Genie military to move concrete during construction of the Maritime Operations Center (MOC) at the Gabonese Navy Base. The MOC construction is in support of exercise Obangame Express scheduled for March 2019. NMCB-1 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian and foreign assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
