Koa Moana is an exercise with The One Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) designed to operationalize the Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) by deploying to designated countries throughout the Marines Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) area of operation. Koa Moana involved military-to-military engagements and theater security capability operations to strengthen partner military and security capabilities.
