181109-N-PW480-1205 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 9, 2018) Sailors man .50-caliber machine guns aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94) during a fast attack craft and fast inshore attack craft (FAC/FIAC) training event. Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group (CSG) cruiser-destroyer (CRUDES) units participate in the first East Coast CRUDES Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT). SWATT is led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality and interoperability of participating units.
